About Abi – A Cambridge graduate and Online British Writing Tutor
I’m Abi, a Cambridge-educated online English tutor with over 20 years’ teaching experience across the UK and internationally. I founded Home Star Tuition to provide expert British writing tuition for families worldwide. Many of my students are based in China and I also serve the expat community, supporting children with writing with clearly and confidently.

I use the latest teaching technologies to deliver engaging, interactive sessions – making high-quality British English writing tuition accessible to families anywhere in the world, regardless of time zone.

Having taught in the UK, New Zealand and online across multiple countries, including China, I bring genuine international experience to every lesson. I work with children from a wide range of backgrounds and learning needs, and I’m committed to creating a learning environment where every child feels valued, included and inspired.
