Home Star Tuition provides private online British English tuition, including entrance exam tuition, for children aged 7–14, delivered by a Cambridge-educated teacher. I specialise in academic and creative writing tuition for children aged 7–14: essay structure, argument writing, persuasive writing, analytical writing, creative writing, entrance exam preparation, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Entrance exam writing tuition include:

Lessons cover the full range of academic and creative English writing skills.
How session’s work
Lessons run for one hour via a range of online teaching platforms, supplemented by Class Dojo for communication and resources. VooV is available for families of children based in China.
What’s included
Our work together will begin with my signature writing diagnostic, which will inform my teaching plans. Every session includes tutor feedback and a personalised reading and vocabulary list. Homework is provided and feedback is given at the start of each lesson. A written progress report is provided every 8 weeks. FAQs can be found here.
