Home Star Tuition provides private online British English tuition for children aged 7–14, delivered by a Cambridge-trained teacher with an OFSTED outstanding rating. Sessions are available to expat, overseas and home-educating families worldwide, with flexible scheduling to suit any time zone.

What’s covered

Lessons cover the full range of academic English skills: reading comprehension, creative writing, argument writing, academic writing, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Preparation for 11+, 13+, MAP testing and IELTS is also available.

How session’s work

Lessons run from 30 minutes to one hour via Zoom, supplemented by Class Dojo for communication and resources. VooV is available for families based in China.

What’s included

Every session includes tutor feedback and a personalised reading and vocabulary list. Optional homework is available. All teaching is tailored to your child’s individual needs, learning style and your family’s educational philosophy. FAQs can be found here.
